Luka Mamić hit the outside of the post in the 6th minute, and three minutes later Mario Mladenovski headed just over the crossbar. Nike Šepić took a long-range shot in the 13th minute that resulted in a corner. Istra responded before halftime with an effort from Alekse Latković, but Franko Kolić was positioned well to make the save.

Deep into added time, in the 92nd minute, Uchegbu volleyed from the edge of the box and struck the crossbar.
